Arunachal Flood Toll Rises To 11 As Labourer Dies In Wall Collapse; 938 People Affected Across 23 Districts

Itanagar, Jun 3: The death toll from floods and landslides in Arunachal Pradesh has risen to 11 after a labourer died in a wall collapse incident in Anjaw district, officials said on Tuesday.

The State Emergency Operation Centre (SEOC) reported that 38-year-old Bhaben Murmu died on June 1 when a wall gave way during a landslide. Three GREF workers were injured in the same incident.

Floods have affected 938 people across 156 villages in 23 districts of the state.
