Itanagar, Dec 12: The Arunachal Pradesh government has appointed ten “guardian” ministers to oversee and monitor development activities across the state’s 28 districts. A notification issued by Planning and Investment Secretary R K Sharma on Wednesday stated that the ministers will conduct quarterly review meetings to assess the progress of key infrastructure projects and government welfare programs.
The appointed ministers will also attend at least two ‘Seva Aapke Dwar’ meetings in each district to engage with the public and understand their expectations. The ministers will submit regular reports on their activities and actions to the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), which will compile the reports for further review in the Chief Minister’s e-Pragati meetings.
