Arunachal: Hari Youth Organization Observes Himalayan Bird Count Day In Ziro

Itanagar, May 12: The Hari Youth Organization (HYO) marked Himalayan Bird Count Day on Saturday, in collaboration with the Ziro Birding Club and Arunachal Birding Club. The event was held at Yachi Yat, near Hari Village, and saw active participation from local birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts.

Hage Duyu, Secretary of HYO, emphasized the importance of the initiative in raising awareness about bird conservation and fostering a deeper connection between the community and nature. “This event is not just about counting birds; it’s about ensuring environmental protection for future generations,” he said.

The HYO also reaffirmed its commitment to discouraging hunting and poaching, and encouraged continued community involvement in future conservation activities. The organization expressed gratitude to its partner clubs and invited more individuals to join upcoming environmental efforts.
