Itanagar, Jun 2: A cleanup campaign under the Zero Waste Himalaya initiative was organized at IG Park, Itanagar, bringing together multiple organizations to address the growing waste crisis in the Himalayan region.

The event, titled The Himalayan Cleanup, was conducted by the Youth Mission for Clean River in collaboration with Itanagar Smart City, Abralow Memorial Multipurpose Society, Morning Glory, and NSS Don Bosco College.

Volunteers actively participated in collecting and segregating waste during the drive, promoting sustainability and environmental responsibility. The initiative aimed to raise public awareness and encourage community-led efforts in tackling waste-related challenges in the region.
