Itanagar, May 17: The Department of Information Technology & Communication (IT&C), in collaboration with the National e-Governance Division (NeGD) under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, conducted a workshop on ‘myScheme, DigiLocker, and EntityLocker’ at DK Convention Centre, Itanagar. The initiative aimed to promote digital governance and enhance citizen-centric online services in the state.

The event was attended by Director of IT&C Neelam Yapin Tana and OSD to IT Manjunath R, and saw the participation of over 80 senior officials from various government departments. The workshop focused on increasing awareness and strengthening the capacity of officials regarding the use of unified digital platforms for efficient governance.

The workshop featured demonstrations on myScheme, a platform that simplifies the process for citizens to discover and apply for eligible government schemes. By reducing effort and time, the platform ensures that beneficiaries can easily access the services and support they are entitled to.

Experts also showcased the functionalities of DigiLocker and EntityLocker. DigiLocker allows citizens to store and access official documents in a secure digital format, reducing the need for physical paperwork and enabling faster, tamper-proof services across sectors such as education, employment, and governance.

EntityLocker, designed for businesses, MSMEs, and institutions, facilitates digital document management and verification. The platform aims to improve transparency, efficiency, and secure service delivery across departments.

The workshop is part of the ongoing efforts to build a digitally empowered governance system in Arunachal Pradesh.
