Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein extended his heartiest congratulations to players of the Arunachal Pradesh Amateur Karate-Do Association (APAKA) for their outstanding performance at the 5th KIO Sub-Junior, Cadet and Junior Karate Championship held in Uttarakhand.
The state contingent returned with an impressive haul of 17 medals; 8 gold, 7 silver, and 2 bronze.
“This achievement reflects the dedication, discipline and fighting spirit of our young athletes, coaches and support team,” Mein stated.
He conveyed his best wishes to all the medal winners, coaches, and the entire APAKA family for continued success.
“May you continue to shine on larger national and international platforms,” Mein added.
The 5th KIO Sub-Junior, Cadet and Junior Karate Championship was organised by the Karate India Organisation. It saw participation from teams across states in kata and kumite events.
