Para-athletes from Arunachal Pradesh brought laurels to the state at the 7th International Para Athletics Championship 2025 held in Bengaluru from July 10 to 12.

Tingong Wangpan won two gold medals in the 400m and 200m sprint events in the T35 category, while Kipa Mero secured a bronze medal in the Javelin Throw in the F13 category.

The team was led by coach Techi Sonu, whose guidance contributed to the successful performance. The achievements have been hailed as a proud moment for the state in the field of para sports.
