Itanagar, Aug 19: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Tuesday said the state is working to strengthen its education system by integrating strong foundational learning with advanced technology.
In a post on X, Khandu shared initiatives aimed at ensuring that no child is left behind. These include the School Readiness Programme for Classes 1 to 5, over 10 percent improvement in Class 10 and 12 board examination results, and the Vidya Samiksha Kendra for real-time tracking of schools using GIS and AI.
He also announced Mission Shikshit Arunachal, targeting completion by 2029, with an allocation of ₹3,000 crore for infrastructure, facilities, and learning outcomes. The Chief Minister also mentioned the Teacher Transfer Policy to address the issue of single-teacher schools in the state.
