The Arunachal Pradesh cabinet on Friday approved key decisions to enhance technical education, strengthen internal security, improve child welfare, and promote transparent governance.
Chaired by Chief Minister Pema Khandu, the cabinet sanctioned the creation of 34 teaching and non-teaching posts at the Government Engineering College in Toru, Papum Pare district, aimed at boosting technical education in the state.
The cabinet also approved the formation of the 6th Indian Reserve Battalion (IRBn) to reinforce internal security, a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) said.
