Itanagar, Dec 12: The newly constructed Itanagar Town Baptist Church was officially inaugurated on Wednesday, marking a significant milestone for the Christian community in Arunachal Pradesh. Situated within the Itanagar Pastoral Range of the Nyishi Baptist Church Council (NBCC), the church will serve as a central hub for worship, prayer, and community activities.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu, alongside MLAs Wanglin Lowangdong, Techi Kaso, Laisam Simai, and Nikh Kamin. The dedication service was conducted by Rev. Dr. Tagang Gelo, General Secretary of the NBCC, who offered blessings for the new building and its future role in the community.

In his address, Chief Minister Khandu extended his congratulations to the Christian community and expressed hope that the church would strengthen faith, promote unity, and be a source of blessings for future generations.
