Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein on Friday attended the Chaupal Beithak on VB-G RAM G and flagged-off a Tractor Rally organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party, Namsai District Unit.
Speaking at the event, Chowna Mein highlighted the state government’s commitment to grassroots empowerment and accelerated rural development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said initiatives like VB-G RAM G aim to strengthen rural infrastructure, empower farmers, and ensure that government benefits reach every corner of the state.
The Deputy Chief Minister also emphasized the role of Self-Help Groups in enhancing rural livelihoods and noted that start-ups and innovations in Arunachal Pradesh are opening new avenues of growth for youth. He added that effective implementation of government schemes requires transparency, proper documentation, and systematic monitoring at the Panchayat level.
The Tractor Rally, described by organizers as a symbol of farmers’ empowerment and rural progress, was attended by HMLA Chau Zingnu Namchoom, ZPC Namsai Chau Sujana Namchoom, ZPC Lohit Smt Basalu Dellang, party office bearers, karyakartas, and local farmers.
Chowna Mein said, “When villages become stronger and self-reliant, Arunachal Pradesh moves forward with greater confidence.”
