Arunachal Pradesh’s rich culinary heritage was highlighted at the Times Food & Nightlife Awards held at The Westin Mumbai Powai Lake.
Traditional vegetarian dishes from the state, including specialties such as Amin, Chambai, Tasse, Black Rice, and Churpi, were featured, attracting attention from guests, industry experts, and media. The state’s offerings stood out among 34 prominent restaurants from Mumbai.

Chief Minister Pema Khandu emphasized that showcasing these indigenous flavors on a national platform promotes awareness of the state’s culture and cuisine, while also positioning Arunachal Pradesh as a destination for cultural and gastronomic tourism.

He commended Chef Pinky Veo and her team for representing the state’s culinary traditions with authenticity and pride.
