Khinsan Wangsu, a talented Taekwondo athlete from Arunachal Pradesh, has clinched the gold medal in the Taekwondo Poomsae event at the 38th National Games in Uttarakhand. This victory adds another prestigious achievement to her successful sporting career.
Wangsu’s gold medal comes after a series of remarkable performances. In November 2023, she and her teammates, Lumter Uli and Achum Sangha, secured a gold medal in the female U-30 group Poomsae event at the 37th National Games in Goa.
In addition, Wangsu, alongside Uli and Sangha, captured another gold at the 39th National Senior Kyorugi and 12th National Senior Poomsae Taekwondo Championships in September 2023. Wangsu also earned a bronze medal in October 2024 at the 40th National Senior Kyorugi and 13th National Poomsae Taekwondo Championships.
Her continuous success brings immense pride to her home state of Arunachal Pradesh, as she continues to shine in the sport of Taekwondo.
