CM Pema Khandu Inaugurates Arunachal Niwas In New Delhi

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu inaugurated the newly built Arunachal Niwas at Dheerpur in New Delhi on Sunday, describing it as a “dedicated home away from home” for citizens of the state residing or visiting the national capital. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Union Cabinet Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Minister of Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju, along with several MLAs and Cabinet Ministers from Arunachal Pradesh.

The modern facility, spread across 2,600 square meters with a built-up area of 7,198 square meters, is a G+8 structure with a basement. It houses 59 guest rooms, including twin, deluxe, and accessible options, as well as nine dormitories for guests and staff. Designed to provide comfort and efficiency, the complex also features a medical room, offices, lounge and waiting areas, a dining hall and a modern parking system.

Chief Minister Khandu emphasized that Arunachal Niwas will serve not only as accommodation but also as a symbol of the state’s presence in the capital, offering improved support and convenience for residents and visitors alike.
