A dengue outbreak has been reported in the Chongkham block of Namsai district in Arunachal Pradesh, officials confirmed.

The rise in cases was identified through ongoing surveillance and monitoring by health authorities across the district.

To control the spread, the Namsai district administration has declared Chongkham block as a ‘Dengue Outbreak block,’ said deputy commissioner CR Khampa in a public advisory.
