Several political and social leaders formally joined the Congress in Arunachal Pradesh on Monday at an event held at Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan. The new members were welcomed by Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president Bosiram Siram.
Addressing the gathering, Siram said the decision of the leaders to join the Congress reflected their commitment to constitutional values and democratic principles. He added that their move also symbolised support for truth, justice, public welfare, and the protection of India’s sovereignty and Constitution.
Siram stated that the Congress has always represented a movement shaped by sacrifice, struggle, and service to the nation, urging party workers to continue strengthening their outreach to the people.
