Itanagar, May 14: A ‘Seva Aapke Dwar’ camp was organised on Wednesday at Kaho village in Arunachal Pradesh’s Anjaw district, aiming to provide government services and welfare schemes directly to citizens in remote border areas.

The camp was jointly inaugurated by Minister Nyato Dukam and Minister Dasanglu Pul. Kaho, located along the Indo-Tibet border, is recognised as India’s first village in the eastern frontier.

Under the initiative, flagship schemes of both the Central and State Governments were delivered on-site. Officials reported that over 14 lakh citizens across Arunachal Pradesh have benefitted from the programme so far, which continues to bridge the gap between governance and remote communities.
