Itanagar, May 21: A powerful display of unity and patriotism was witnessed in Kalaktang, Arunachal Pradesh, as thousands of citizens participated in a grand Tiranga Yatra. The 67.5 kms long procession culminated at Kuntu Lekpa General Ground, where attendees paid tribute to the Indian Armed Forces and security agencies.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from various sections of society, including senior leaders, party karyakartas, SSB personnel, ex-army servicemen, students, and Mahila Shakti. The atmosphere was electrified with chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” reflecting unity, patriotism, and the spirit of a resolute nation.
Addressing the gathering, Tseten Chombay, MLA of Kalaktang, extended heartfelt gratitude to the Indian Armed Forces and border security personnel for their dedication and sacrifice. He paid tribute to the martyrs of the recent Pahalgam terrorist attack and lauded the firm response of the Indian military under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
“The New India strides ahead under the unwavering leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji — where terrorism has no refuge, and national pride stands taller than ever before,” Chombay said. Military personnel, ex-army servicemen, and other distinguished patriots who have selflessly served the nation were also honored during the event.
