Yalem Taga Burang has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women. Tsering Dolma has been appointed as the Vice Chairperson of the Commission.

Their appointments are expected to contribute towards advancing the welfare, rights, and empowerment of women in the state.
