Kohima, May 16: Assam Rifles, in collaboration with the NGO Sunbird Trust, has distributed 56 solar street lights in various villages of Nagaland. The villages benefiting from this initiative include Tanhai, Totak Chingnyu, and Longmein in Mon district, along with Chungotore, FIC (Angangba), and Sangsomong in Tuensang district.

The initiative aims to enhance mobility, improve security, and support community activities during nighttime hours.
