The Assam Rifles, in coordination with the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), seized 642 grams of Heroin No. 4 and 10.444 kilograms of methamphetamine tablets during an operation at Zokhawthar in Mizoram.

The seized narcotics, estimated to be worth ₹36.79 crore, were handed over to the NCB for further investigation and legal action.
