Assam Rifles seized 24.95 grams of Heroin No-4 during an operation in the general area of Zote, Champhai district, Mizoram. The narcotics were recovered in two hongs.

One individual was apprehended, and a Yamaha Scooty used in the transportation was also seized. The recovered items, along with the accused, were handed over to the Excise and Narcotics Department, Champhai, for further investigation and legal action.
