Assam Rifles seized 52 cases of foreign-origin cigarettes valued at ₹67.60 lakh during an operation at Tlangsam in Champhai district on 21 July 2025.

The seized contraband was handed over to the Customs Preventive Force, Champhai, for further investigation.
