In a major anti-narcotics operation, Assam Rifles in coordination with Tripura Police seized 3 lakh Yaba tablets valued at approximately ₹30 crore from the general area of Kheyerpur on 16 July 2025.
The recovered narcotics were handed over to the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) for further investigation and necessary legal action. Authorities have intensified efforts to curb drug trafficking along the region’s sensitive corridors.
