Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) chief and Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) Chief Executive Member Hagrama Mohilary on Tuesday paid tribute to the martyrs of the Bodoland movement on the occasion of Bodoland Day.

In his address, Mohilary remembered the sacrifices of the movement’s heroes, acknowledging their role in shaping the identity, autonomy, and dignity of the Bodo people. He also extended condolences to the families who lost their loved ones during the struggle and praised the Bodo Liberation Tigers (BLT) for their contribution in transitioning from armed struggle to peace and development.

Mohilary reaffirmed the commitment of the Bodo community to honor the legacy of those who laid down their lives, saying their sacrifices would continue to inspire the people of Bodoland.
