Assam Cabinet Approves Rs 357 Crore For Dibrugarh Medical College, Clears Land For Disability University In Kamrup

The Assam cabinet has approved a project worth Rs 357 crore for the development of Assam Medical College & Hospital in Dibrugarh, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced.

In another major decision, the cabinet approved the allotment of 150 bighas of land for the proposed National University for Disability Studies. The university is planned to be set up by the central government at Bongaon in the Chhaygaon revenue circle of Kamrup district.
