In a continued crackdown on drug trafficking, Cachar Police launched three separate operations across the district, leading to the seizure of 512 grams of heroin valued at ₹2.56 crore.

During the operations, four drug peddlers were apprehended. The police have stated that efforts to combat illegal narcotics in the region will continue with full force.
