In a major anti-narcotics operation, Cachar Police intercepted a vehicle entering Silchar from a neighbouring state and seized 20,000 YABA tablets worth approximately ₹6 crore. Based on reliable inputs, the operation led to the apprehension of two individuals in connection with the drug consignment.

Further investigation is underway.
