Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated the newly built Indoor Stadium of the Golaghat District Sports Association on Monday.

The project, constructed under the Urban Infrastructure Development Fund (UIDF) at a cost of ₹7.94 crore, features six table tennis boards and five badminton courts. This state-of-the-art facility is expected to strengthen the district’s sports ecosystem and provide a major boost to local athletes.
