Assam Chief Secretary Ravi Kota on Wednesday reviewed the progress of road projects being implemented by the National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (NHIDCL). He stressed the importance of effective coordination between state officials and NHIDCL to ensure the projects are completed on time.
The Chief Minister’s Office stated that Kota focused on projects in Cachar, Sribhumi, and Tinsukia districts and issued directives to accelerate work.
In line with Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s instructions, Kota held a meeting with NHIDCL’s Managing Director, Principal Secretary of KAAC (virtually), Deputy Commissioners of Cachar, Sribhumi, and Tinsukia (virtually), and officials from Revenue, Disaster Management, and Forest Departments to review key infrastructure projects.
