Assam CM Announces Schedule For 2026 HSLC And HS Board Examinations

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday announced the dates for the Class 10 (HSLC) and Class 12 (HS) board examinations for 2026. According to the update shared on his official X account, the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination 2026 will begin on February 10, while the Higher Secondary (HS) Final Examination 2026 will commence on February 11.

In his post, the Chief Minister stated that the HSLC exam will start on February 10 and the Higher Secondary exam on February 11, wishing students the best for their preparations.

The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has reopened the form-filling window for HSLC candidates. The window, which reopened on November 17, will remain active till November 20, 2025, with the last date for fee submission set for November 21, 2025. Schools yet to complete the process have been advised to visit the official SEBA website within the deadline. SEBA has clarified that forms submitted during the extended period will be treated under the APL category, and institutions must update bank details of candidates where required.

Meanwhile, the form-filling process for the Higher Secondary (HS) examination has closed. Candidates have been advised to check the official websites of SEBA and AHSEC for further updates.
