Assam CM Announces ₹1,000 Crore Development Plan For Bodoland On 24th Bodoland Day

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on the 24th Bodoland Day at Bodofa Nwgwr, Kokrajhar, greeted the people of the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) and announced key development projects.

The initiatives include ₹1,000 crore for roads and bridges, ₹2 lakh each for 15,000 youth to support entrepreneurship, staging of the Bagurumba dance in New Delhi, and a Bodoland Guest House in Chennai for patients from the region.

CM Sarma also expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for the historic BTR Peace Accord, which reinforced peace and stability in the region.
