Guwahati, June 18: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma handed over appointment letters to 400 newly recruited Medical and Health Officers at a special function held at the GMCH Auditorium, Bhangagarh. This batch of appointments brings the total number of government jobs provided under the current administration to an impressive 1,20,359.
CM Sarma emphasized that the government has freed youth from corruption-ruled public recruitment, marking a significant step towards a progressive and employment-rich Assam.
These newly appointed Medical and Health Officers will play a crucial role in expanding and improving public health services across Assam, particularly in underserved and rural areas. The Chief Minister, in a statement, highlighted the government’s dedication to creating sustainable employment opportunities and administrative reforms, ensuring unprecedented levels of efficiency and accountability in recruitment processes.
