Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma chaired the 41st meeting of the Board of Directors of Guwahati Smart City Limited (GSCL), conducting a detailed review of both ongoing and completed initiatives under the Smart City Mission.

Among the key projects discussed was the Brahmaputra Riverfront Development Project, aimed at transforming the riverbank into a vibrant public space that reflects Assam’s cultural heritage. The meeting also reviewed the Integrated Traffic Management System, designed to streamline vehicular movement across Guwahati with a focus on sustainability and inclusive access to urban infrastructure.
