Guwahati, Jun 25: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma visited the construction site of the Gauripur Trumpet interchange on the national highway in North Guwahati to review the progress of the project. During his inspection, the CM met with representatives from the construction companies and officials from the Public Works Department to assess the ongoing work.

Sarma provided necessary directions to accelerate the pace of construction and ensure the project’s timely completion. He highlighted the importance of the Trumpet interchange as a key link to the upcoming Kumar Bhaskar Varma Setu, which will improve connectivity between Guwahati and North Guwahati.

In a tweet, the Chief Minister reiterated his commitment to the project and instructed officials to prioritize its early completion.
