Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma met ONGC Chairman Arun Kumar Singh at Lok Sewa Bhawan, Dispur, to review the well control operations at site RDS 147A in Rudrasagar, Sivasagar, following a recent gas leak.

Terming the incident a serious concern, the Chief Minister assured that the Assam Government is closely monitoring the situation and committed to bringing it under control at the earliest. He also pledged full support to ONGC in ensuring the safety of the public and protection of the environment.
