Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma held a meeting with Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, on Wednesday to discuss the progress of key infrastructure projects in Assam. The meeting focused on ensuring the timely completion of the state’s flagship projects with support from the Ministry.

Minister Gadkari assured the Chief Minister of the Ministry’s full cooperation and highlighted the significance of these projects in improving regional connectivity and boosting economic growth in the Northeast.

Gadkari also stated that the ongoing National Highway projects in Assam, reviewed alongside senior officials, will enhance trade routes and accelerate development across the region.
