In a continued crackdown on drug trafficking, Sribhumi Police apprehended two women near Nilambazar Railway Station and seized 616.24 grams of suspected narcotics. The operation was carried out based on specific intelligence inputs.

According to police sources, the estimated market value of the seized drugs is around ₹3.5 crore. The Assam Police remains vigilant and has intensified efforts to curb the illegal drug trade across the region.
