In two separate operations, Cachar Police seized drugs worth an estimated ₹7 crore and arrested five individuals involved in drug peddling.

According to officials, the seizures included 216 grams of heroin and 20,000 Yaba tablets. Additionally, two vehicles used in drug transportation were also confiscated during the raids.

The operations were carried out based on specific intelligence inputs. Police have confirmed that further investigation is underway to trace the network involved.
