Guwahati, Jun 10: In light of the heat wave alert issued by the Meteorological Department, Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu on Tuesday urged all District Commissioners to remain vigilant and use their delegated authority to revise school timings based on local weather conditions.

The minister issued the directive through his official X handle, highlighting the need to ensure the safety and well-being of students during extreme weather.
