Assam: Guwahati Police Seize ₹5 Crore Worth Of WY Tablets At Railway Station, One Held

Guwahati, May 8: Guwahati City Police on Wednesday intercepted a suspect at Guwahati Railway Station and seized 20,000 WY tablets, estimated to be worth ₹4 to ₹5 crore in the illegal market.

The operation was carried out based on credible intelligence. In addition to the narcotic tablets, police recovered a mobile handset and ₹1,000 in cash from the suspect.

One person has been arrested in connection with the case. Further investigation is underway.
