Assam: Karbi Anglong Signs MoU With Goal Bio-Oil Pvt Ltd For Bio-Fuel Refinery Project

The Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Goal Bio-Oil Private Limited for the establishment of the Karbi Anglong Bio-Fuel Refinery Limited.

The project will comprise a Bio-Fuel Refinery, Waste Plastic Pyrolysis Plant, and Distillation Plant. According to Chief Executive Member Tuliram Ronghang, the initiative will generate substantial revenue for KAAC, enabling enhanced development activities and improved public services.

In addition to economic benefits, the project will offer technical support and a buy-back policy to assist local farmers and create employment opportunities for the youth of Karbi Anglong.

  • 1.KAAC will be greatest benifit by this plant and project. 2.Landlord and poor farmers will be gain from this plant and project. 3.Educated Youths will get job opportunity. Both skills and unskilled 4.Stablishedment of market will come up.where large numbers of businessman will be benefited 5.Both govt.and Privates vehicles will be get benefits and etc. On the other hand large amount of waste products that’s polluted water and air will come out from the plant. If it be through in the river it will largest effect to the Acquitick plant and animals and human being. So we should be alert in it. Lastly I appeal the citizens.opposition party and other social organizations to cooperated in it for the speedy growth and development of our district Karbi Anglong.

    Land land aquasition can be done after prior informed and concent of the land owner and stakeholders in the Tribal areas. as per sixth schedule constitution of India the land of indigenous tribes under jurisdiction of KAAC is under protected by laws. Tribal Land can’t be acquired for the interest of business house and corporate gain. Tribal land can’t be used for national endowment fund. KAAC should be adhered and respect its land laws for the interest of schedule Tribe communities as a whole…
