Guwahati, July 3: Assam minister Jayanta Malla Baruah on Thursday held a review meeting to discuss the progress of the Guwahati Water Supply Project under the Jal Board.

The meeting, attended by officials from the Jal Board, Public Works Department (PWD), and National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), focused on enhancing inter-departmental coordination, especially regarding pipeline laying, relaying, and road restoration.

The minister emphasized the need to ensure timely project execution while minimizing inconvenience to the public.

The minister also reviewed plans related to the Guwahati Sewerage Project during the meeting at Janata Bhawan.
