Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced that the Panchayat elections in the state will be completed by February 10. Additionally, a special one-day session of the Assam Assembly’s Budget session will be held in Kokrajhar.
Sarma also reflected on the recent bye-election victories, highlighting the significant wins achieved by the BJP and its allies across five assembly constituencies. He emphasized the historic victory in the Samaguri seat, reclaimed from Congress after 25 years.
The Chief Minister reiterated the BJP’s commitment to justice for all, stating “Appeasement to none, justice to all.” He also stressed the party’s focus on minority communities and its stance on national security, expressing confidence in the party’s strong performance in the upcoming assembly elections.
