Guwahati, Jun 7: Assam Police have carried out two significant drug seizures in separate operations across the state.

In Hojai district, police seized 820.51 grams of heroin worth an estimated ₹1.6 crore and arrested two suspected peddlers. In another operation, Karbi Anglong Police confiscated 6,192 capsules of Sampex+ (Tramadol), a controlled pharmaceutical substance.

Officials stated that operations against drug trafficking will continue as part of the ongoing statewide crackdown.
