In a successful operation, the Assam Police’s Special Task Force (STF) seized narcotics worth ₹2 crore at the ISBT in Betkuchi. The authorities recovered 239.5 grams of heroin, hidden in 19 soap boxes, along with a mobile phone.
One individual has been arrested in connection with the drug haul, and legal proceedings are underway. This operation underscores the Assam Police’s ongoing efforts to curb drug trafficking and maintain a Drugs-Free Assam.
