Assam Police seized 70,000 banned Yaba tablets, valued at over Rs 10 crore, during an operation in Sribhumi district. One person was arrested in connection with the seizure.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma shared details of the operation on social media, highlighting it as part of the state’s ongoing Assam Against Drugs campaign.

“Yaba tablets worth Rs 10 crore seized. One peddler has been arrested in this Assam Against Drugs drive,” he posted on X Friday night, commending the police for their action.
