Guwahati, September 9: In a display of vigilance, Assam police intercepted two Bangladeshi infiltrators, Shahadat Hussain and Priyanka Gain, along the Indo-Bangladesh border in Karimganj.

The two individuals were prevented from entering Indian territory and were subsequently pushed back across the border, marking a successful thwarting of an infiltration attempt.
