Guwahati, July 14: The Congress on Sunday accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of conspiring to remove opposition supporters’ names from Assam’s electoral rolls during the ongoing voter list revision process ahead of the 2026 Assembly elections.

The party also questioned the impartiality of the Election Commission, claiming it has become a “puppet” of the ruling party.
