Assam: Seven Arrested After Cattle Skulls Found Near Siring Chuk Namghar In Lakhimpur

Seven individuals have been arrested by Lakhimpur Police following the recovery of cattle skulls near Siring Chuk Namghar, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Wednesday.

Three cattle skulls were found approximately 30 metres from the Namghar, along the roadside. Those arrested have been identified as Monsur Ali (60), Md. Rejjak Ali (29), Saha Ali (48), Diluar Hussain (25), Dildar Hussain (30), Abu Kalam Ali (33), and Jahidul Islam (22).

A subsequent search at the residence of Monsur Ali led to the recovery of three more cattle skulls, which were seized by the police.

An investigation is underway, including technical analysis, according to the Chief Minister.
